A New Way Counseling service was grown out of the development of a group program for adolescents aimed at changing aggressive behaviors and development of social skills and moral reasoning. This program is offered to youth 12-17 years of age. The group is facilitated three days a week across a span of ten weeks. The group is a closed group and seating is limited.
Enrollment is based on acceptance following an initial intake interview with Mr. Jacocks.
The group enrollment form and new client paperwork are downloadable under the CONTACT US tab for your convenience.
Intake interviews may be scheduled by calling The Transformation Center at 423-499-9335.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, we are able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
Counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Online sessions are held from the safety of your own home with both couples at a time that is convenient for you through our easy scheduling platform.
A New Way offers alternatives to help youth ages 12-17
Alternatives produce better behavioral choices which reduce aggressive behaviors. Interactive classes and role playing helps assist youth developing social skills, and engages participants in using good decision making skills through moral reasoning training.
